Initial impression: Great watch for the price January 19, 2008 - 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I lost my casio edifice watch and decided to get this watch since it had all of the features that I needed (time zones, alarm, display date/day, etc.). The watch arrived the other day and so I thought that I would contribute my initial thoughts since I found the other reviews here to be useful.
This is a very solid and good looking watch. The display is easy to read with large numbers/letters and a bright back light, much better than the casio that I lost (and half the price!). Setting it up was very easy and it is comfortable. I prefer a metal band to the resin bands on the other version of this watch. The band is solid and easy to adjust (wikihow has a brief article on adjusting the band called "Adjust-a-Casio-S-935L-Watch-Band").
The watch is thicker than most of the previous watches that I have had. At first I was concerned about this, but now that I've worn it for a while, I don't really notice.
I haven't had it long enough to notice scratches on the watch face.
I like the watch and would buy it again.
Very good looking May 7, 2006 R. Hudda (USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Update ** 5/7/07
While this is a really beautiful watch, and functioned well for the last year or so, and will definitely continue to function extremely well, there are visible signs of wear due to cheaper material used in this particular casio model (not typical in more expensive models). So I would rather buy another casio retailing at Amazon for 50+ which uses quality material.

Its one of the best looking metal band casios.
I like the fact that it allows you to choose constant display of Day or Date/Month. I would have liked a choice of Day and Date, but unfortunately thats not a choice.
Its light weight, very good looking, allows you to illuminate the display in the dark, has a stop watch, alarm, and worl time. Almost everything I would look for in a watch, at an unbeatable price.
Since this is my 5th Casio over a period of 7 years, I can tell that the quality of Casio watches is awesome. The only reason I changed my watches were:
1) Two of my resin band watches broke (strap). Watch was functional till the day I stopped using and even today, they just need a
2) One of my metal band was lost.
3) I finally got tired of my last Casio watch, so I decided to go for a change.
I believe this one will last another couple of years b4 I get bored, but I am sure it will be hard to top this one's good looks.
I purchased from chelsea and it arrived in 2 days, since I orderd it in NY, and they are from NY
Amazing watch September 21, 2007 Deepak S. Muralidharan (Stillwater, OK) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I got this product hardly a month ago. I am very much satisfied with this product. It provides a professional as well as a fancy look. The only part that am disappointed is the watch glass. I wish it could be a scratch resistant as watch glass tend to get more scratches. Overall, this watch is more than worth for its price.
Cool watch June 9, 2006 Jorge Garcia (Zaragoza, Zaragoza Spain) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great Casio watch. It's good looking with a nice ana-digi display (it has black face, the numbers are somewhat golden and light is green) and it has the most useful functions: world time, timer, stopwatch and 5 alarms. The face is a bit thick but it's light weight.
It's a really good watch for the money.
Great home and travel watch February 24, 2007 John Sandeen 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is an excellent wear all the time watch. Looks great in both casual and formal settings and the price is easy on the wallet. Since I purchased this watch it has been on my wrist fulltime. The stainless steel case is very slick without any clutter of command words on the buttons. In fact the buttons blend into the overall design and almost disappear. The stainless steel band is smooth and the clasp closes and opens with ease.
The world time feature of the watch makes for easy changes to new time zones with automatic resetting of the hour and even day/date. Simply select the correct time zone and confirm it as the main display in digital mode. I keep the analog hands set to my home time zone and that way easily see both time at home and at my travel location on the same display. The numbers are large enough for me to see at a glance. The back light makes for easy viewing at night.
The 4 alarm features are very handy although not loud enough to wake me but are good for appointments. Stop watch is also great.
You can see that I like this watch.
